Join us on a guided walk around our beautiful village and discover the secrets of our past. Uncover Roman treasure, delve into medieval intrigue and discover connections to the brutal slave trade. Learn about the early life of the infamous 1st Duke of Buckingham, now the subject of an exciting new TV series. Explore the impact of industrial quarrying, hear about the various tragic deaths that occurred throughout the centuries, and discover the mysterious WWII double agent lauded by Churchill.
Afterwards, join fellow local history enthusiasts for tea or coffee and a slice of delicious homemade cake at the village hall.
£5 per person including refreshments. Children FREE.
